Sunset Northeastern Gardening Book | Published in 2001this Sunset guide is more useful to us than the “Western Garden Book” because of hardiness zoning issues.Plants rated for zones, 44-45 in the NE book live in Truckee. ( In the “western Garden Book”, but many zone ! plants do not live here.) As with all Sunset publications, the plant descriptions are very useful.
Perennial Gardening Guide by: John Valleau |
This book contains wonderful pictures and descriptions of most of the perennial flowers, ferns and grasses we carry in the nursery. As you study this book, remember it uses USDA hardiness zoning and we are zoned 3 or 4 depending on location.
