Weeds

One Person's weed is anothers herb.... Whether or not a plant is a weed depends on context, that is whether it fits into the concept of a particular garden. Here we present some of the more obnoxious species. When weeding your garden keep in mind that weeding is actually ecosystem management. So as an ecosystem manager take your time while exercising your god like powers over the garden, and enjoy.

Stickseed, Hackelia

The dreaded Stickseed. This beautiful california native can cost hours of pains taking seed removal from socks, dogs, etc.

Hackelia has beautiful white and bright blue flowers, making it easy to spot in the garden. Remove it before it goes to seed.
